Nha Trang overview

Perhaps Vietnam’s most popular beach area on account of the sheer number of beaches and islands on hand, Nha Trang, situated along the south/central coast, is a massive tourist draw. It is a major town with a pretty good infrastructure and has more shores than you could poke a stick at. China Beach is the main surfing beach in the country and is here, plus there are many inshore islands to go snorkelling and escape the bustle of the mainland coast. Nha Trang also boasts a natty microclimate that is a lot easier going that the Vietnam norm and also comes with a generous helping of nightlife, hotels and archaeological heritage. Planes, trains and buses all serve.
