Hoi An overview

Hoi An Travel Guide
The ‘living museum’ that is Hoi An is one of the most deliciously-located of any Vietnamese town; sat as it is on the banks of a lazy river and featuring a delectable UNESCO World Heritage core. This once important port sits in the centre of the coast below Hue and Danang and was luckily spared the bombs of the Vietnam War. It is loaded with pagodas, old houses, museums and bridges and is so nice to wander around on foot. The Central Market is a top draw and always abuzz, or you could hop on a bicycle and pedal out to the coast to down some tasty seafood. Thai Hoc street is the place to head for a drink in this otherwise conservative town.
